Friday Film Club

Aged 12-17? Watch a film every Friday at shmu!

We're delighted to announce our newest activity for young people, Friday Film Club!

Open to young people aged 12-17 with an active interest in film and living in Tillydrone, Woodside, Torry, Middlefield, Seaton, Northfield or Cummings Park, sessions take place at shmu on Friday evenings from 5pm to 8pm and include a hot snack.

Each week you'll enjoy watching a different film chosen from a selection relating to a particular theme, genre or cinematographic style and afterwards take part in a related group discussion.

As well as being a fun social activity, this club supports development of imagination, creativity and film literacy whilst also improving speaking, listening, discussion and social skills.
