57 North Presents: Dirty Shoes

Aberdeen indie band join Alan in the studio on Monday 4th February

Dirty Shoes were formed in Aberdeen in 2012, and their melodic indie sound can be heard on their recently-released third EP ‘Room One’ on Fat Hippy Records, which follows on from the well-received ‘The World’s Asleep’ EP (2013) and ‘81’ EP (2016).

Acclaimed for their intense live performances, Dirty Shoes are Dave Lee (guitar), Ray Evans (bass), Stuart Norman (vocals) and Keith Duncan (guitar). Members have previously played in bands such as Star, Lady Mercedes, and Elevation.

They'll be joining Alan in the studio live on shmuFM from 8-10pm on Monday 4th February.

Missed it? Fear not, the show is also repeated on Friday at Midnight, or you can Listen Again here.

After Monday's show, you can also request any of Emily's tracks on any of our other live shows by contacting the studio on 01224 483413, by texting 60300 (type SHMU, leave a space and then your message) or by emailing studio@shmu.org.uk.
