shmuFM Band of the Week: The Sanity Club

Our first guests on the shmuFM Band of the Week are the lads from The Sanity Club! You can catch them live on the show on the 6th of January, 2014.

The Sanity Club is a young 4-piece rock/hard rock band, based in Aberdeen and the North-East, formed by 4 friends through a common love of rock, and performing. The group has since come a long way for a group of four 18 year olds, in the two and a half years since their first show in school.

Since a slight lineup change, they have performed at The Lemon Tree twice - as well as regularly around Aberdeen - and recorded and released two EPs. Their latest 7-track effort, Welcome to Insanity, is available now on Bandcamp and Facebook.

Tune in to 99.8fm at 8-10pm to hear tracks from Welcome to Insanity, plenty banter, live performances and good tunes - if you're lucky, there may just be a mystery cover!
