Big Noise visits shmu

The Big Noise visited shmu to appear on the Youth Media Project's Music Madness show. The Big Noise is a group of talented performers who teach young people to play orchestra instruments and to play a performance for others people.

Some of the staff were interviewed on what they do and what the project is about. They have been teaching primary school pupils how to play some of the string instruments and there will be a concert on 29th of June at 1:30pm at Tullos playing fields.

After the show they performed at shmu for the Youth Media project. It was really good and it amazed me on how fast they could play the instruments.

One of the staff, Irini, who plays the cello said: "Every day is different and we are currently working with around 80 children but after the holidays we will be working with even more groups."

Big Noise is open to all young people in Torry. For more information you can contact Laura Horn on laura.horn@sistemascotland.org.uk.
