Youth Media cover city's Youth Festival

shmu Youth Media Team report from Aberdeen International Youth Festival

shmu's Youth Media Team have landed the prestigious role of Official Festival Reporters for Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF) again this year!

Our team of young reporters, aged 11 to 18, will once again produce regular reports on all the goings-on at this internationally-renowned Youth Festival, which is one of the world's biggest celebrations of youth arts.

For this year's Festival, the Youth Media Team will report on AIYF performances, workshops and events using mobile devices to capture video and audio which they will edit, upload and broadcast from their new city centre base at Seventeen during the ten-day Festival.

Our Youth Media reporters will review events, interview performers and production teams, and talk to audience members to create in-depth coverage of the Festival, which brings the very best in International culture and performing arts to the city every year.

You can keep up with all of the team's reports right here, in the new Youth Media section of our website, and also listen to the Youth Radio Project's live shows on shmuFM during the Festival - weekdays, 4pm to 5pm, and Saturdays, 10am to 1pm - for highlights, exclusive reports and live studio guests from this year's AIYF.
