Youth Media team shines a light on local festival

In February the Youth Media team visited the third annual Spectra Festival in Aberdeen City Centre as part of their continued coverage of Aberdeen's Collective Festivals. The group used their film training to create a short film documenting the exhibits at the festival, including a short interview with contributing artist Sara Stroud, which you can watch below:

Last year the Youth Media team's video coverage of Spectra won an award for Best Documentary in the 13-19 year category at the Scottish Youth Film Festival. You can watch their last film here: https://youtu.be/L6i0HP-6foM

The Youth Media team is comprised of young people aged 11-19 from regeneration areas of Aberdeen, who are able to be a part of regular radio and journalism sessions, as well as specialist music and film events as part of their time in shmu.
