57 North Presents: FaR
This week, our featured artist is FaR! You can hear them live on 57° North Presents on Monday the 26th of September from 8-10pm. You'll hear tracks from their most recent EP, a live session and much more from 8-10pm, only on shmuFM.
FaR performs a wide range of original material from acoustic ballads to full-on rock band with jazz, funk, reggae and world influences (including Latin and African) with strong soul vocals.
Founded by Madagascan singer Fifi and Scottish guitarist Rodaidh from the Black Isle. Having met while studying music at North Highland College after collaboration and acoustic performances they moved together to Aberdeen where they formed FaR in 2013.
Since then they have been performing in their community, performing at the Aberdeen Fashion Week and the Lemon Tree with recurring appearances at Drummonds and Tunnels.
