shmuFM Band of the Week: Flaxman
Local alt-rock band Flaxman is our shmuFM Band of the Week. You can hear them live on the show on Monday the 17th of March from 8-10pm.
Flaxman is a 5-piece Aberdeen-based alt-rock band. Their current lineup has been established only since January this year, but the band has been gigging since 2012.
The songs are complex little affairs about love, loss, loneliness, loathing, angst, suffering and other cheery stuff mostly starting with the letter L.
The songs are writen by various members of the band and the collective approach utilised in the band has been positive when working out definitive versions of songs.
The band will be playing live soon on the 5th of April at Drummonds and the 19th at Ferryhill Tavern.
