shmuFM Band of the Week: IndianRedLopez

This week we've got indie-dance band IndianRedLopez as our shmuFM Band of the Week. You can hear them live on the show on Monday the 10th of March from 8-10pm.

IndianRedLopez is a five-piece indie-dance band known for blending genres - and as a result, sounding like very little else. Winners of the Best Electronic Act at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMAs), IndianRedLopez has just recorded their latest album Commit, which was self-recorded in the band’s own “bunker studio”.

Described as having “grown leaps and bounds since their debut album”, the band has developed an identity of its own, with shoegaze elements meeting 80s synth-pop. Their new album releases on the 17th of March, meaning you can hear three of their new tracks on shmuFM before the album releases!
