shmuFM Band of the Week: What Is?

This week, we have What Is? as our shmuFM Band of the Week. You can hear them live on the show on Monday the 17th of February from 8-10pm.

What Is? “break the rules with vicious guitar riffs, a thundering backline and unique harmony vocals.” Drawing influence from various metal, rock and grunge genres, the trio has an interesting sound that's sure to appeal to many.

Quickly establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with on the scene, What Is? progressed through to the Quarter Finals of the Fat Hippy Battle of the Bands competition alongside Full Fat, Daniel Mutch and Matanuska – all of whom have previously been on the show!
