This is the fifth episode of festivalTV recorded by the YouthTV crew at the Belmont Picturehouse for the Aberdeen International Youth Festival. We join our host Natasha Franklin with Viva Sandnes choir in the studio and we also have interviews from the Dutch Youth String Orchestra and the Youth Ballet Company of Saskatchewan.

We filmed the Star Awards for Aberdeen City Council. It was a celebration for all of the hard work that council staff put in. They commissioned shmuTV to make a video of all of the nominees which would be shown before the awards were given at the ceremony.

Our wonderful team at shmuTV were commissioned to film the Activity Mix Corporate Decathlon Awards in 2011.  The awards ceremony was a glittering affair where several winners were recognised for their work over the year.  The film features the audience and interviews with the lucky winners.

Terr Action was a local Action group from Alexander Terrace. They created this film to highlight the problems that local residents had in the area of Tillydrone. Through the platform of community visual media, the film led to a £12 million investment in the area.

A film made over 8 months by a group of young mum's highlighting safety issues in their community. The group from Aberdeen's regeneration areas focused on 5 safety issues that they felt impacted their community and quality of life.
