Presented annually by shmu, the award recognises individuals across Aberdeen who embody Angela’s values - bringing people together, championing others, overcoming challenges and spreading kindness.

CashBack North East 2024-25 Report

The 2024-25 report for our CashBack NorthEast programme has been published.

CashBack for Communities is the Scottish Government’s programme which repurposes money seized from proceeds of crime into projects for young people who face disadvantage.

A group of young people from local charity FACEYOUTH joined us at shmu HQ recently for a three-day podcast project.
 
They spent two days learning about all aspects of podcasting before recording two episodes on the final day.

Aberdeen Student Show contributes to shmu

We were delighted to be invited to the recent disbursement ceremony for the Aberdeen Student Show! 

The Student Show raised a phenomenal, record breaking amount of money with their recent show 'Seagully Blonde' - a whopping £167,439.04 for 50 local charities.

Our Wellbeing Hub takes place every Wednesday from 2pm - 4pm at shmu HQ, Station Road, Woodside
We also hold a Wellbeing Walk on the last Wednesday of the month from 1pm - 2pm (check our socials for location)
