Youth Media 16 Plus group

The 16+ Group is a new Youth Media show that is broadcast on Saturday from 1-2pm.  We are involved with the Youth Radio Project, and meet up every Tuesday and discuss on what topic to tackle.

The point of this is that it is still Youth Media but the topics are aimed more for the older group and listeners, as well as the topics being more relevant and relatable for the age group.

Western Arts University Ambassadors (USA)

My favourite show from this year’s Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF) was the Western Arts University Ambassadors (USA). The story was called “Blazing Tides” and it was about the struggles and conflicts between the elements of fire and water. The story was influenced by a range of stories and films such as Romeo and Juliet and The Last Airbender.

AIYF International Variety Gala

It has finally come to an end of AIYF 2015! AIYF finished on the 1st of August at the ‘HMT’ with spectacular performances; we are sad to see all performers gone and were all glad seeing our bright performers and their performances this year. We went to see variety of events and big applause for all the performers at the AIYF, Aberdeen is proud that you brought smiles to our faces.
