57 North Presents: EXOFST

EXOFST is a one-night mini festival organised by students from RGU as part of Aberdeen Student Festival.

It takes place at Aberdeen’s Exodus on Friday 19th April and features a host of local bands & musicians including Glass Monkey, Dave Angus, Offline, Emily Watt, Ramona, Shannon F & Purgatory.

Worlds Apart are a four-piece, Sixties-influenced power pop band hailing from the North East of Scotland.

Featuring former members of bands such as Stanley and Sanctuary, they’ve just released their second album ‘Songs for Sons and Daughters’.

Dirty Shoes were formed in Aberdeen in 2012, and their melodic indie sound can be heard on their recently-released third EP ‘Room One’ on Fat Hippy Records, which follows on from the well-received ‘The World’s Asleep’ EP (2013) and ‘81’ EP (2016).

Aberdeen-based alt-rockers Terra Nøva formed last year and released their debut EP ‘Euphoric’ in December.

The band also played a headline show at Aberdeen’s Drummonds earlier this month.

Emily Watt is a young singer-songwriter from Aberdeen. Since starting out by playing a mix of covers and original songs at open mic nights and acoustic evenings, she's recently been asked to play with established local artists such as Craig John Davidson and bliss.

Aberdeen-based indie-rock quartet bliss (the lower case ‘b’ is intentional) formed earlier in 2018.

Influenced by 80s pop, as well as modern indie and alternative rock, they released their self-titled debut EP on the 10th of November.
